بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
| وَالْعَصْرِ | (1) By (the Token of) Time (through the ages), |
| إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ | (2) Verily Man is in loss, |
| إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ | (3) Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy. |
